Our Privacy Policy
1. Email address and Email newsletter
We keep your name and email address on our database when you sign up online or at an event. We will use your email address to send emails related to our work focussing primarily on the area you expressed an interest in when you signed up.
Every newsletter email we send includes a link to opt out of receiving future emails.
We may at times use your email address to promote our work through social media posts or to advertise using social media (e.g. using a Facebook lookalike audience), as a way of reaching people through social media who may be interested in our work.
2. Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell your personal information to any individual or organisation. We do use other organisations to provide services on our behalf. The third parties we currently use are: Mailerlite for newsletters, Squarespace for our website, Hotjar to give us information on the extent to which our individual website pages are viewed, and Facebook to occasionally advertise content. We may also occasionally use other third parties to help us deliver our service. We will only provide these organisations with the information they need to deliver the required service.
3. Clients
We keep information clients shared with us in paper or digital format and occasionally both. We do this so we can be familiar with their background and to document how their situation has evolved or shifted while working with us. This helps us support our clients better with any work we do with them in future. It also supports our own reflective learning ensuring we continue to develop as therapists, coaches and facilitators and continue to improve the service we provide to our clients.
4. Cookies and IP address
We do use cookies on our website to collect information about how visitors interact with our website, so that we can adapt and improve our website drawing on useful feedback. The user information that is collected is internet connection (IP) address, geographical location (region, country), type of device, browser and operating system if your browser is set to provide/accept this.
Our website also utilises the conversion tracking pixel service of Facebook. This allows us to record the effectiveness of any Facebook advertisements run by us. The data we collect remains anonymous. Facebook also has its own privacy policy on this.
Our email newsletters are sent using Mailerlite. Mailerlite logs when emails are opened, and if any links are clicked.
5. How long do we keep your information
If you do not interact with our content for a period of ten years, we will remove your information. Client information, however, is currently kept indefinitely, but we can remove it from our systems at any time should you make the request in writing.
